A partnership between Bupa, Carers UK and MEND have developed Carewell, a new website designed to encourage and support carers to make positive changes to be healthier and happier.

Drawing on the tips from carers and health experts Carewell pulls together a range of information, support and guidance aimed at helping to improve the health and quality of life for carers themselves. And ultimately, supporting them in continuing to provide better care for their friends and family.

Save the date: End the Care Crisis

img2

The Care and Support Alliance is uniting to tell the Government that our care system is in crisis. On Tuesday 6th March 2012, hundreds of people will join us in London to tell MPs that a change in social care is urgently needed.

As the government is due to announce their plans to reform social care in April 2012. It is really important that we make sure MPs and ministers act now to reform our social care system ensuring a fair and sustainable care system which delivers dignity, independence and peace of mind for older and disabled people and their families. Failure to act will lead to more of the cuts, neglect and abuse in social care, at great cost to our economy, public services and society.

Join the campaign today to urge the Government to create a better social care system for all.

If you want a social care system that is fair, offers high quality care, and delivers dignity, independence and choice register now!
