Uthink London seeks to work with young people

Uthink London is Rethinks young people’s service working across London Boroughs. Uthink want to receive referrals for young people between the ages of 14-18 at risk of developing, have, or are caring for someone with a mental illness.


Uthink deliver a range of recovery orientated, group based programmes that involve interactive activities, multi media and the creative arts that may be beneficial to the young people you are working with. 

Uthink are currently offering:

  • Emotional Health and Well Being Programmes - Bespoke, targeted provision for young people who have or are at risk of developing severe mental illness. Delivered over 4 sessions, the course is designed to increase the young people’s confidence, coping strategies, self esteem and communication skills through interactive activity.
  • Mental Health Awareness Sessions – Universal provision for 14-18 year olds in schools or other group settings offering information, advice and guidance in an interactive workshop.
  • Leadership Programmes – Bespoke, 2 day training opportunities for Graduates of the Emotional Health and Well Being Programmes – or can be undertaken independently – to offer young people opportunities in personal and professional development e.g. Steps to employment,, media volunteering, campaigning & activism etc,.
  • Young Siblings Programmes- for siblings aged 14-25 – Tailor-made projects for young people who have a brother or sister with severe mental illness- includes leadership skills and educational workshops to support these young people in their role as sibling.

Uthink are keen to work closely with BME communities to ensure that their programmes are accessible to as many young people as possible.
